Welcome to the Contemporary music WikiProject! Our goal here is to improve Wikipedia articles which relate to contemporary classical music and especially contemporary music that demonstrates a modern aesthetic, for instance music written in an experimental or avant-garde style. If you would like to help, please inquire on the talk page and see the open tasks below.

- Goals
- Improve Wikipedia's coverage of contemporary music, and in particular articles related to experimental music.
- Develop guidelines for articles on contemporary music (in collaboration with similar wikiprojects where subjects overlap).
- Scope
- This project covers all articles related to modern music. Included in this are articles about contemporary music genres, contemporary music theory and technique, contemporary composers and musicians, contemporary music compositions, and the recent history of modern music.
