For a long time prior to today, Template:Equidae was used as a non-taxonomic navbox. Per discussion now on Template talk:Equine, I have moved (renamed) the template to Template:Equine. --Una Smith (talk) 03:52, 24 January 2009 (UTC)

Per discussion on Template talk:Equine, Template:Equidae now redirects to Template:Equidae extinct nav. On Special:WhatLinksHere/Template:Equidae, all incoming mainspace links to Template:Equidae have been removed. As appropriate, some have been replaced by a link to either Template:Equine or Template:Equidae extinct nav. --Una Smith (talk) 15:59, 28 January 2009 (UTC)
