[edit] Toilet Etiquette

Initially, the section was compiled by a user in the Toilet article but was removed because it was deemed to have no immediate relevance to the general topic. The source for the original edit is here [1]. The sources are legitimate and I have not found any inaccuracies in the section. Cioxx 22:44, 18 October 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Body Odour

If Muslims value cleanliness so much why do Muslims have a much higher incidence of offensive body odour than say Christians, Jews, Sikhs, any other religions? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 81.149.82.243 (talk) 11:39, 18 January 2008 (UTC)

That is a potentially offensive stereotype. Do you mean the people who wear thick clothing and live out in the desert, not a lot of water around to bath with? Or in countries too poor to afford deodorant? I've never notice any local Muslims to be smelling differently than the rest of us in the area. Is there any group out there that doesn't believe in deodorant? Is there a rule perhaps about putting things on the body, such as perfume, and deodorant is included in modern times? I did some Googling and found an answer at Yahoo answers that says that some eat a lot of garlic and spices and whatnot in their diet, that produces a smell. That the prophet Mohammad bathed in rose water, and early Muslims walked about with sweat smelling flowers in their pockets all the time. Dream Focus 04:32, 9 March 2009 (UTC)

Hahaa yeah I think they just have an overall "dirty" look to them.. maybe its the beard or the desert-(stereo)type, I dunno... But I do find the very last line to be HILARIOUS!!! "Praise be to Allah whom rid me of this filth and gave me cleanliness"!! (or something to that effect..) you cannot be serious, cmon.. can some Moose-lim confirm yay or nay that stated fact???? Thanks! PraiZe B to ALLAH!!
