Sievi is a municipality of Finland.
It is located in the province of Oulu and is part of the Northern Ostrobothnia region. The municipality has a population of 5,301 (31 March 2009)[2] and covers an area of 800.89 square kilometres (309.23 sq mi) of which 14.47 km2 (5.59 sq mi) is water.[1] The population density is 6.74 inhabitants per square kilometre (17.5 /sq mi).
The municipality is unilingually Finnish.
