Mandar (also Andian, Manjar, Mandharsche) is an Austronesian language spoken on South Sulawesi - Majene and Polewali-Mamasa districts (Indonesia) and in a few settlements on the islands of Pangkep District and at Ujung Lero (near Pare-Pare).[citation needed]

According to the Ethnologue, it is written in the Lontara (Buginese) script.
