Kuhmalahti is a municipality of Finland.

It is located in the province of Western Finland and is part of the Pirkanmaa region. The municipality has a population of 1,063 (31 March 2009)[2] and covers an area of 220.68 square kilometres (85.21 sq mi) of which 52.17 km2 (20.14 sq mi) is water.[1] The population density is 6.31 inhabitants per square kilometre (16.3 /sq mi).

The municipality is unilingually Finnish.
