A gods material shop is a shop specializing in supplying materials used in the practice of Chinese traditional religion.
These shops are abundant in Chinese areas, from mainland China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Singapore, Malaysia (places where a majority of the inhabitants are Chinese, such as Batu Pahat, Melaka, Ipoh, and Penang), and several Chinatowns.
