Gabriel Clarke

Gabriel Clarke is a roving reporter for Britain's ITV Sport. He was recently seen with the England camp feeding news back to the studios during the 2006 FIFA World Cup.

Clarke took over from previous Gary Newbon when Newbon headed to Sky Sports. Clarke has been named the Royal Television Society Sports News Reporter of the Year three times: 2001, 2002 and 2005.

He is the son of film director Alan Clarke (1935-90), whose work includes Scum, Made in Britain and The Firm.

Clarke has written and directed several television documentaries. These include "Calzaghe: No Average Joe" (2006), "Amir Khan, The Story So Far (2007) and "Clough" (2009).
