Demy de Zeeuw (born 26 May 1983 in Apeldoorn) is a Dutch footballer, currently playing for Eredivisie club AZ Alkmaar. He is a defensive midfielder described as a good tackler and a gifted passer of the ball.

De Zeeuw began his career with his home city's club AGOVV. After impressive performances for the club, he caught the attention of Go Ahead Eagles who signed him up.
He was a member of the Dutch squad that won the UEFA U-21 Championship in 2006. He was also eligible to represent the Netherlands Antilles. In August, 2006 he was bought by AZ Alkmaar for a fee of €100,000, despite interest from FC Groningen and Sparta Rotterdam. He was signed on a four year contract.
Impressive performances for AZ led to his international debut for the Netherlands national football team in a Euro 2008 qualifier against Slovenia on 28 March 2007.
De Zeeuw became in the season 2008-2009 with AZ National champions.
De Zeeuw usually plays as a defensive midfielder and in the national team he has to compete with the likes of Mark van Bommel, Orlando Engelaar and Nigel de Jong on that position.
