Bogd Khan Uul (Mongolian Богд хан уул) is a mountain in Mongolia that overlooks the nation's capital, Ulaanbaatar, from a height of 3000 feet (914m) above the city[1].

Bogd Khan Uul, along with Mogolia's other sacred mountains Burkhan Khaldun and Otgon Tenger, was added to the UNESCO World Heritage Tentative List on August 6th, 1996 in the Cultural category. World Heritage sites are those that exhibit universal natural or cultural significance, or both.
