The 100 Greatest Scary Moments is a British television programme in the 100 Greatest / 100 Worst strand on Channel 4.[1]
It was broadcast in the United Kingdom in late 2003 and reviewed the top 100 scary moments in Film, Television, Music and Radio, as voted for by viewers in the United Kingdom. The show was presented by Jimmy Carr and featured input and commentary from various celebrities mainly those involved with horror related projects.
The top ten "moments" were:

- The Exorcist (1973)
- Jaws (1975)
- Alien (1979)
- The Blair Witch Project (1998)
- Ringu (1998)
- Halloween (1978)
- The Texas Chain Saw Massacre (1974)
- The Omen (1976)
- A Nightmare on Elm Street (1984)
